1. WE BELIEVE IN GOD
We believe in one God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is sovereign, holy, loving, and just.
2. WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was fully divine and fully human. He died on the cross for our sins, taking the death we deserved, was buried and rose again. Salvation is found in Christ alone, and through faith in Him, we receive forgiveness and eternal life.
3. WE BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God's plan of salvation and guides us in how to live as followers of Christ.
4. WE BELIEVE IN SALVATION BY GRACE
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not based on our works, but on Christ's work on the cross. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven, justified, and adopted as children of God, called to live a new life in Him.
5. WE BELIEVE IN THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, called to gather for worship, teaching, serving, and fellowship.
6. WE BELIEVE IN THE RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to judge the world. Those who trust in Him will enjoy eternal life in the presence of God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation.
It is for these reasons, and out of the overwhelming love He has shown us, that we created this journal platform as an act of love for our family in Christ who desire to die to themselves, pick up their cross, and follow Him. We write this with tears in our eyes, because drawing near to Him has been like a breath of fresh air. We were not perfect, we were not sinless — He loved us at our worst and has loved us into a renewed heart, mind and life. You don't have to be perfect to come to Christ, just come. And if you are already here, draw nearer.
